This year our 5th and 6th classes visited the Titanic Experience in Cobh. It is situated in the original offices of the White Star Line which was the departure point for the last 123 passengers that boarded the Titanic on its fateful maiden voyage to America.The story is told using innovative audio-visual technology bringing the characters to life.The children were able to trace the footsteps of the Queenstown passengers and discover their fate.They really enjoyed the experience.
Afterwards, we headed to the “Lets Go Camp” in Douglas where the children participated in lots of indoor and outdoor adventure.It was a wonderful day and the weather was fabulous.
