In Junior Infants we have been having lots of fun settling into school.

We had lots of fun playing and getting to know each other. We met lots of new friends like Gerry the Giraffe. Every Friday Gerry goes home with one of his new friends. Here are some pictures of how he got on:.

.We are very good at our classroom rules. We put our hands up and we listen to each other.

We have been busy learning our letter sounds. We feed Sally Muncher every day. She likes to eat things that start with the letter sounds we have learned.

We have great fun matching objects in maths and sorting them into sets.

We love story time and we love to predict whats going to happen in the story. We even have signs to show teacher when we have a prediction!.

We really enjoy PE in school. We play lots of fun games and have races. This month we have been practicing our balancing skills as well as throwing and catching. We love to have races!
