Safer Internet Day 2015

Here in Lisnagry, we are very conscious of Internet Safety. While it’s important to have general rules to prevent cyber bullying and to protect ourselves online, it’s even more important to develop skills and attitudes to help us to respond to any situation. Our school website has suggested a number of sites to help parents and children learn about web safety.These are available under the parents tab on the home page.We all want  to improve Internet Safety for families.

We will celebrate Safer Internet Day next Tuesday the 10th February.
Each class plan to do  different activities to reiterate the importance of internet safety ; watch safety videos or explore webwise. We have also invited Ciara Gaynor our local community Garda to visit the school and talk to the senior classes about cyber bullying.
