There was a heroes welcome for past pupil Tom Morissey  and fellow team member Stephen Power last Friday afternoon when they visited Lisnagry with both the Munster minor and senior hurling trophies won during the summer. Tom and Stephen both represented the Limerick minor team that bridged a gap of 29 years to become Munster chanpions again. The last time the minor/senior Munster double was won by Limerick was in 1940 so it was an historic day to have both trophies in the school. The boys  are fantastic role models and talked to the children all about their success and training  and Tom answered many questions about his playing days in Lisnagry! We look forward to our many budding stars to follow in their footsteps  and perhaps represent Limerick in the future.
