Handball Day

With numerous All Ireland, European and World titles under their belts, we were honoured to have Ger Coonan and Fergal Collins in the school last Thursday to demonstrate and teach the skills of handball. Ger and Fergal have played in both singles and doubles and even met each other in the final of the Singles World Championship. Classes from 1^st to 6^th got to experience first-hand the skill and speed of handball. Ger and Fergal did a short demonstration of the game before each class got to try out the skills for themselves. The students thoroughly enjoyed the day.
