As in previous years, our 2nd class boys and girls have once again donated part of their Holy Communion money and raised €130. This year the money went towards helping other children through the Cliona Ring Foundation. Terry Ring, founder of the charity that was brought to national prominence through The Secret Millionaire, visited the school to collect the cheque in person and gave a talk to the children. The local charity does fantastic work providing financial assistance for critically ill children and their families. Well done to all the boys and girls for their generosity and for sharing their good fortune.
