Another proud achievement at Lisnagry NS!

A big congrats to our 5th class at Lisnagry NS, following their major success at both the Regional and National Vex Robotics finals.

At the Regional Finals in Dell, our pupils scooped 3 awards, the Robot Skills Award,Teamwork Challenge Champions and the overall Excellence award. This event was in partnership with Dell and Mary Immaculate College

Lisnagry students then progressed to claim two awards at the Dell Technologies National VEX IQ Robotics competition in CIT.
They won the Design Award and the STEM Research Project Award!

It is a fantastic achievement for our school and we are so proud of you all!
Well done to everyone involved and thank you for your dedication to the project.

VEX Robotics is an exciting and fun program where school children from 8-18 years learn about Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) while having fun! They design, build, program and compete with their robot in a spectacular competition organised by Dell EMC.

In addition to STEM the students acquire other skills such as project management, presentation skills, teamwork, leadership, PR and much more.
