Maths Week 2015 was a great success in Lisnagry. It took place from 12-16th October. Maths Week Ireland promotes awareness, appreciation and understanding of maths through a huge variety of events and activities. You can see the young mathematicians in action below.
Classes were involved in a range of activities including maths trails, maths art, target boards and problem solving.There are some excellent maths displays on the walls of the corridors.
We also organised a daily maths problem for the junior and senior end of the school. Lots of different mathematical skills were emphasised during the week and great learning and enjoyment were had by pupils and staff alike. See below a selection of photographs from Maths Week 2015.
